What does Uplift actually do?
You paste your website URL. Uplift builds a Brand Brain profile (voice, audience, offer), writes short-form video ideas for it, lets you swipe to keep the good ones, and renders them as vertical MP4s for TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts.
What kind of videos does it make?
Two formats today: slideshows (images with text overlays) and wall-of-text (bold text over a background clip). Both are rendered from deterministic templates at 1080×1920, so the same script always produces the same video.
Where does the media come from, and can I legally use it?
Stock from Pexels and Pixabay, AI images you generate in AI Studio, and your own uploads. Every asset carries a rights status, and anything marked reference-only, needs-review, blocked or expired is refused by the final render job. You're still responsible for what you upload — Uplift asks you to confirm you have the rights.
How do credits work?
Each action has a fixed credit cost, shown before you confirm: an idea batch, a preview render, a final render, or an AI image. Free accounts start with 100 credits. Starter, Growth and Agency plans add 400, 1,000 or 3,000 credits every month (used first, refreshed at renewal), and top-up credits never expire.
Why is there a preview render and a final render?
Previews are cheap and fast so you can check pacing and text before paying for the full-quality render. You only spend final-render credits on videos you've approved.
